The Banff & Lake Louise Hospitality Mentorship Program brings together a community of mentors and mentees, who share a commitment to upholding the values of leadership, hard work, and professionalism within the tourism sector. Inspired by the mentorship skills of David Bayne, this program not only preserves his enduring legacy but empowers the next generation of leaders to reach new heights.
Professional development requires more than time spent in a role, emerging leaders need guidance in decision-making and career navigation. With an experienced professional supporting your goals through coaching, listening, and guiding, the results can have an incredible impact on a person’s career.
Participants are paired with someone just one step apart in their career journey. As a supervisor, department head, executive level leader or retiree, you can act as either a mentor or a mentee within the program. The program recognizes the unique and broad career paths in tourism and hospitality and will take this into account when matching mentors and mentees.
BLLHA recruits both mentors and mentees for this free, 6-month program that connects aspiring leaders, supervisors, managers, and directors in Banff National Park.
Running with two sessions per year January-June (Winter/Spring) and July-December (Summer/Fall), the program requires one meeting per month and allows participants to be both mentors and mentees, matched based on career goals, skills, and expertise.
Mentor and Mentee applications for Summer/Fall 2025 closes June 16, 2025.
