The Banff & Lake Louise Hospitality Association is a respected, consensus-building membership organization that advocates for the well-being of the accommodation, food & beverage, and tourism sectors within Banff National Park.
Since 1974, BLLHA has been helping the tourism industry work toward common political and economic interests that will benefit the communities of Banff and Lake Louise as a whole.

Emergency Preparedness
In the event of a local emergency such as a wildfire, severe storm, river flooding, train derailment or other human or natural emergency event, it is important to share timely and accurate information with employees and visitors. Knowing where to find this information quickly is key to preparedness.
BLLHA is committed to providing industry preparedness resources as well as being a direct communication link to industry in the event of an emergency.

The Banff & Lake Louise Hospitality Mentorship Program brings together a community of mentors and mentees, who share a commitment to upholding the values of leadership, hard work, and professionalism within the tourism sector. Inspired by the mentorship skills of David M. Bayne, this program not only preserves his enduring legacy but empowers the next generation of leaders to reach new heights.
David M. Bayne Legacy Bursary
Supporting post-secondary students advance tourism careers in Banff National Park
This legacy fund was established to inspire students and celebrate the virtues David Bayne embodied – leadership, hard work, and professionalism. Up to four (4) bursaries of $5000 each will be granted annually to aspiring post-secondary students in pursuit of hospitality, culinary, or tourism education.

BLLHA Tourism & Hospitality Bursary Program
Apply for bursaries up to $500. Deadline is September 30, 2026
The Banff & Lake Louise Hospitality Association is offering bursaries of up to $500 each in support of individuals pursuing career development opportunities in the tourism and hospitality industry.
Each bursary will be awarded to a maximum of $500. Bursaries will be considered and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, while funds allow.

Housekeeping Olympics
On Thursday, May 28, 2026, the Housekeeping Olympics returns for its 11th annual spring event at the Fenlands Recreation Centre. Celebrating housekeeping professionals from across Banff and Lake Louise, this one-of-a-kind community gathering is the largest employee recognition event in Banff National Park.
